Celebrating Seven Years of CCF

Looking back at what inspires us every day

In February 2026, Client Care First proudly celebrates its seventh anniversary. That’s seven meaningful years of walking alongside people in our community, supporting their goals, and learning from their strength, resilience and individuality. And as we mark this milestone, we reflect on the heart of our organisation: the participants who inspire us every single day.

Client Care First (CCF) began with a simple but powerful idea, that every person deserves to be genuinely seen, heard and supported in a way that honours their choices, their independence and the place they call home.

This vision was shaped long before the organisation officially opened its doors. It all began on a small family farm just outside Goulburn in south-west New South Wales, where CCF Founder and Director, Meryn Martin, grew up.

Raised in a modest, hardworking rural family, she learned early the value of community, dignity and lending a helping hand. But it wasn’t until a young family member required care that the next chapter of her life’s purpose became clear. Watching them receive support in a nursing home setting, despite being far too young for that environment, Meryn, saw firsthand that something different was needed. Something more personal. More flexible. More empowering. A model of care where individuals had genuine choice and control, and where support could happen in the warmth and comfort of their own space.

From that deeply personal experience, Client Care First was born.

Seven years on, the heart of that founding vision continues to guide every member of our team. What began as a small, values-driven service is now a trusted provider that continues to grow; one person, one family, one meaningful connection at a time.

But our growth has never been about becoming the biggest. It has always been about becoming better: stronger in our values, deeper in our relationships, and more responsive to the people we support.

Every participant who invites us into their lives brings with them a unique story. These achievements, big and small, fuel our passion. Their determination pushes us to think differently. Their individuality reminds us why personalised care matters. And their trust in us is something we never take for granted.

Our team often says that we get just as much from our participants as we give. And it’s true. We are constantly inspired by their positivity, humour, courage and capacity to grow, even in the face of challenges. They are the reason we show up with purpose each day, and the reason we continue to strive for excellence in everything we do.

As we celebrate six years, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the participants, families and carers who have been part of our journey. Their confidence in us has shaped who we are today. And as we look toward the future, one thing remains unwavering: our commitment to putting their goals, their wellbeing and their individuality first.

Here’s to seven years of Client Care First, and to the many meaningful years still to come.
